Investing in talent - Building the future of Surveying
Change of Name for Foundation
Message from Chair, Phillip Pozzi

'This is an exciting milestone for the Foundation. It has jointly established two scholarships with the legacy funds from the Institution of Surveyors Queensland to memorialise the proud work of a century of surveyors whose professional home was the Institution in Queensland.
'But now it's time to move on and celebrate the potential of the Foundation as a truly national registered charity,
giving a hand up to students from all parts of Australia. With peppercorn funds and generous support we have accomplished so much already. With your help we can do so much more!'
The Scholarships
The registered tax deductible trust for Undergraduate Surveying Scholarships and Postgraduate Research Grants
Who we are:

A registered trust managed by the corporate trustee, ISAQ Ltd.
A Board of Directors: Four eminent senior surveyors and consultants from the public, private and academic sectors
An expert Advisory Committee: Six representatives from academia, private practice, and Young Professionals, inform the Board's decisions.
What we do:
The Foundation awards surveying scholarships on the basis of merit or equity to undergraduate students to complete recognised university courses and to postgraduate students for research.
Whom we benefit:
-
Students who have demonstrated merit, or who are challenged because of equity issues: isolation, disability: disadvantage takes many forms.
-
The surveying profession: from an upskilled and increased workforce at a time of severe skills shortage and from research into new expansion possiblities.
-
The property, infrastructure, mining and agriculture industries where surveyors are foundational to any project
How you can help:
We need your philanthropic help to give a lifetime opportunity to students with equity issues and to bring groundbreaking research to the surveying community.
